Hand Writers of the Week… Y3

Last weeks (13.10.15)  hand writer of the week was  Grace. Excellent work Grace. This weeks (20.10.15) was Amber. The girls seem to be on a roll. Well done girls.

Year 2 Bake Bread for Thomas Farrinor’s Bakery

We made Salt Dough using flour, salt and water. Then we shaped into baked goods you would have been able to buy in 1666. When we had baked them they became hard and we are now able to play with them in our role play area.

The Great Fire of London Year 2 Class Assembly

  This term Year 2 have had a great time learning all about The Great Fire of London. The children did a fantastic job this morning remembering all their lines and singing beautifully. Thank you to all the parents that came to watch. Well Done Year 2

Pudsey in Reception and Nursery

Welcome to Pudsey bear

On Monday, 19th October,  we were very excited that Pudsey came to visit us in our school.  We all had a dance with him and some of us had our picture taken too.  Pudsey said a great big THANK YOU for collecting a total of £437.69 for Children in Need.

Maths in Nursery

NUMICON Nursery children have been exploring our math resource – Numicon. Year 5 Hockey Practise

      Year 5 spent their P.E. session learning the technical areas and rules of hockey. We discovered that it is not as easy as it looks and takes skill to dribble, pass, tackle and shoot.

Year 6 Fire Safety
