Y4 Problem Solving!

Sam and Jake have been working hard in maths to solve a complicated multi-step problem in maths.  The children were looking at the problem ‘The Deca Tree’.  The boys worked hard to find a solution to the problem and then used the APP Explain Everything to record how they worked out the solution! Fantastic home learning!

Autumn term 1 amazing writing

Our amazing writers had their writing on display in the main entrance of school during the first half term. Lots of visitors really enjoyed reading their work.  WELL DONE to these children!

Building Volcanoes!

Year 4 have been using their D/T skills to build and create a volcano.  We used wire mesh and mod-rock to build and construct the volcano, before painting it and at the end of the topic we will be using our science skills to create a volcanic eruptions in our volcanoes.
